Love story

The couple met online in May of 2010. The two talked online for months until they felt comfortable exchanging contact information. They talked about their favorite hobbies and other interests. Shan was very interested in knowing how was life growing up in LA. They talked and laughed for hours. They found their interest in food and traveling.

Kevin immediately let me know he didn't eat beef or pork and he wanted to explore and see different cities. In July of 2010, Kevin and Shan went on their first date to Murphy's where they enjoyed Shrimp and grits and great conversation. As the evening concluded, the two vowed to keep in touch thereafter.

Well, we lost contact with one another for nearly a year and it was devastating. Then Shan came across Kevin's phone number in late May of 2012 and the two reconvened and developed a friendship that was strong and unbreakable. We found unique characteristics in one another that kept the friendship interesting. We shared laughter and starting making memories that would last a life time.

After losing contact for nearly a year, every moment spent together was precious and priceless. By this time, we were inseparable; we found ourselves spending more time together and late nights on the phone like teenagers. On December 31, 2014 at the strike of midnight while I was fighting a common cold Kevin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said "yes" and we started planning for the brand new chapter of our lives on January 1, 2015

November 20, 2015 we exchanged vows at Stone Mountain Park and have lived happily ever after.
